EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In December 2023, the City Council adopted Resolution No. CC-2312-134 authorizing establishment of a Preferential Parking Zone (PPZ) on the southern 400 feet of the 500 block of N. Gertruda Avenue and directed staff to prepare a Coastal Development Permit (CDP). Because the site is within the Coastal Zone, a CDP is required before the PPZ may be implemented.
