EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The City entered into an agreement with LBP Consulting, LLC (LBP) on May 13, 2025 to develop and implement the Artesia Blvd. Strategic Art Plan (Plan). The proposed amendment would provide an additional $7,500 for LBP’s consulting services and staff support for the installation of this added art piece. It also extends the Agreement term by three months to March 31, 2028 and updates project tasks and deadlines to accommodate the installation of all Phase I artworks. Staff recommends the City Council approve the proposed amendment to provide the professional support services needed to incorporate the LGBTQ+-themed artwork into Phase I of the Plan.
