TITLE
DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING OF THE PUBLIC AMENITIES COMMISSION’S REGULAR MEETING ON NOVEMBER 11, 2026 DUE TO THE VETERANS DAY HOLIDAY
BACKGROUND
The Public Amenities Commission holds its regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month, beginning at 6:30pm. The Commission’s November meeting is currently scheduled for Thursday, November 11, which is the Veterans Day holiday. City Hall is closed.
Staff recommends the Commission consider whether it would like to cancel its regular November meeting, or rescheduled to an adjourned meeting on either:
• Wednesday, November 4
• Monday, November 16
• Wednesday, November 18
These dates are available in the City Hall Council Chambers and do not fall on a holiday for the City.
Canceled or special meetings do not count as absences unless the commissioner’s absence caused lack of quorum, resulting in cancelation.
