EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Approval of the recommended action would amend the City's Street Striping Services Agreement with WGJ Enterprises, Inc. dba PCI Corporation (PCI Striping) to provide the contract funding needed to complete the citywide restriping effort. Specifically, it is estimated that $450,000 is needed to restripe the remaining streets, which are located in Council Districts 4 and 5. Funding for the additional services is available in the Citywide Street Striping Capital Improvement Project (CIP). The revised not to exceed amount of the contract, if approved, would be $1,298,597. PCI has performed well for the City and is expected to complete the proposed work by April 2025.
BACKGROUND
On May 3, 2022, the City Council awarded three-year agreements to PCI Striping and Superior Pavement Markings to provide Citywide street striping services. On October 4, 2022, the Council approved amendments to each agreement to increase the not to exceed amounts to $479,000, which allowed each vendor to provide striping services for a large segment of the City.
