EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The City of Redondo Beach receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to support community development activities including infrastructure improvements and public service programs. To qualify for these funds, the City must complete a five-year Consolidated Plan outlining housing and community development goals. The proposed 2025-2030 plan addresses key needs identified through data analysis and extensive community engagement. A public hearing was held on April 6, 2025 to introduce the proposed plan and provide an opportunity for public input. The May 6 public hearing provides an opportunity for additional public comment and allows the City Council to consider formally adopting the plan.
