EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
To recommend cancellation of the first meeting of November 2020, a Regular City Council and Community Financing Authority (CFA) meetings scheduled for November 3, 2020 and reschedule to November 10, 2020.
BACKGROUND
November 3, 2020, is the Presidential Election and it was requested by Councilmember Loewenstein to consider cancellation of the meeting and reschedule to the November 10, 2020 meeting. The City Clerk also requests that the meeting be cancelled because the City Clerk and Chief Deputy City Clerk wish to attend the Orange County Registrar-Recorder’s election night canvass to observe their selected election equipment in use and its associated processes, which is under consideration for our March 2, 2021 General Municipal Election.
