EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On October 13, 2020 the City Clerk’s Office was notified of Historical Commissioner Almeleh’s resignation due to moving out of Redondo Beach.
Also, sadly, the City Clerk’s office also learned on the same day that Historical Commissioner Albert Arizmendez passed away.
The City Clerk’s office will post a notice for both unscheduled vacancies upon Council’s action this evening.
BACKGROUND
Commissioner Almeleh was appointed to the Historical Commission on December 10, 2019 to fill a partial term ending September 30, 2021.
Commissioner Arizmendez was appointed to the Historical Commission on October 10, 2017 for a term ending September 30, 2021.
