EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
At the City Council meeting of April 6, 2021, the City Council made a referral to agendize further discussion of the City’s efforts related to the identification of potential sites for a Community Garden in Redondo Beach. The most recent direction from the March 9, 2021 City Council meeting was for staff to evaluate potential sites for a Community Garden and to return to the City Council with a Budget Response Report. That work is underway involving the Community Services and Public Works Departments. For background purposes, attached to this report is a copy of the staff report and associated materials from the March 9, 2021 meeting when the subject of Community Gardens was most recently before the City Council.
