EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The resolution to appoint official representatives as delegates and alternates requires updates from time-to-time. On February 20, 2024, Mayor James Light was appointed as Mayor of the City of Redondo Beach to fill the unexpired term left vacant due to the passing of Late Mayor Brand. At this time, it is appropriate for the vacancies on the various agencies be updated and for the City Council to appoint Delegate and/or Alternate, accordingly. There are a few agencies that require the mayor to serve as the Delegate, per various Codes.

The amended resolution includes a correction to add LA County City Selection Committee which had been inadvertently omitted from the previous resolution.

COORDINATION

The City Attorney approved the Resolution as to form.
