EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Glenn Anderson Park Regional Stormwater Capture Green Streets Project (Project) is included in the updated and City Council approved Watershed Management Program as a priority project. Staff applied for regional Safe Clean Water (SCW, also known as Measure W) funding to help underwrite the costs of this multi-benefit project. The Project was selected by the Measure W South Santa Monica Bay Watershed Steering Committee to be awarded $782,000 of competitive SCW Regional Funding Program Funds.

City Council approved the Transfer Agreement to secure grant funds on February 6, 2024. This Resolution, which acknowledges the Mayor as an authorized agent to enter into the Transfer Agreement, and the City Manager, or his Designee, as the implementer of the Transfer Agreement is an additional requirement from the Los Angeles County Flood Control District (LACFCD) to successfully obtain the grant funds.
